Michael Edwards has a distinguished career in the manufacturing industry, where he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation, and he brings a wealth of experience and expertise in manufacturing and process optimization to our team.

Michael has held positions over his career which includes Continuous Improvement Leader at Kroger, Operations Manager at Golden State Foods, Quality Assurance Manager at Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee and Production Manager at Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee.

As a Production Manager, Michael demonstrated exceptional leadership skills. He directed manufacturing in high-volume operations with over 200 SKU’s, determined crew requirements, and optimized employee scheduling. His responsible oversight has extended to 175+ personnel in processing, manufacturing, and shipping and receiving. Moreover, Michael has consistently improved safety culture, addressed personnel issues promptly, and assessed manufacturing processes for enhanced productivity. His ability to maintain detailed records of daily progress and implement improvements resulted in significant gains in operational planning and resource utilization.

Michael holds a B.S. in Biology from Northwestern State University where he not only excelled academically but also demonstrated his leadership skills as a Division 1 basketball player. His dedication and teamwork on the basketball court have undoubtedly contributed to his success in the business world. Michael has Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Phoenix, which has equipped him with the strategic acumen necessary for leadership roles in complex organizations.

Michael’s dedication to process improvement is further underscored by his certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, reflecting his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and quality.
