DOE and NSF7 Compliant

DOE and NSF7 Compliant

Remis America Glass Doors DOE and NSF7 compliant

The DOE (Department of Energy) regulations reduce unnecessary energy consumption. To comply with the regulations, the doors must adhere to a standard that insures insulation and reduces the electricity usage. Products that are DOE compliant reduce your environmental impact, save energy, and save money. The NSF7 (National Sanitation Foundation) regulation establishes a stringent standard for refrigerated doors to insure public health and safety. The standard that Remis products follows insures customer satisfaction and safety. The benefits of using NSF products protects against poorly refrigerated items that could result in health issues or customer dissatisfaction.

Remis Walk-In-Doors meet the 2017 Department of Energy (DOE) regulations

The DOE regulations aim to reduce energy consumption to minimize the industry’s carbon footprint.Walk-In Coolers and the R- Value-The DOE regulations require greater energy efficiency for commercial doors in Walk-In Coolers: “The door standards use an energy-use metric that incorporates thermal insulating ability and electrical energy used by the door”- 2017 DOE regulations, Synopsis Part Two. The new standard requires that Door and Frame energy consumption does not exceed certain values. The R-value is the capacity of an insulating material to resist heat flow. The DOE specifies a minimum insulation value of R25 for cooler walls and ceilings. We are proud to provide our customers with products that reduce energy usage- Our products contribute to a movement of reducing energy usage and accordingly carbon emissions. Additionally beneficial of using DOE regulated products are financial incentives. Energy costs are diminished with products that use less energy, which puts back money in the pocket of our customers.

Remis America Case Doors meet the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF7) regulations

NSF develops stringent public health standards and certifications that help protect food, water, consumer products, and the environment. The Standard- “This Standard establishes minimum food protection and sanitation requirements for the materials, design, manufacture, construction, and performance of commercial refrigerators and freezers and their related components. This Standard contains requirements for refrigerators and freezers used to store and/or display cold food. The types of refrigerators and freezers covered by this standard include, but are not limited to: storage refrigerators (e.g., reach-in, under counter, walk-in, roll-in); storage freezers (e.g., reach-in, under counter, walk-in, roll-in)…”- NSF7.  The standard details the requirements for material, design and construction, and temperature recovery. We are proud to provide our customers with products that reduce energy usage- The standard that Remis products follows insures customer satisfaction and safety. The benefits of using NSF products protects against poorly refrigerated items that could result in health issues or customer dissatisfaction. We want to do all that we can to provide people with products that meet food safety standards.
